About this role
Consultant/Spec/Vmo
Port Macquarie Base Hospital is looking for a Specialist Anaesthetist to cover daily surgical day lists.
No On-Call is required.
PMBH provides a 24/7 Emergency & Trauma service, 7 Operating Theatres, 2 Procedure Rooms, 12-bed Day Stay Unit (DSU), and 22-bed Post Anaesthetic Recovery Unit (PARU).
Surgical specialties include General, Vascular, Orthopaedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Facio-Maxillary, Dental, Endoscopy & ERCP, Ear Nose & Throat and ECT.
We would prefer Sessional Visiting Medical Officer contract - Please review Document number IB2024_001 'Remuneration Rates for Sessional Visiting Medical Officers' to identify your rate as a Specialist or Senior Specialist.
Our maximum offer is a Sessional Daily rate: $3000
Please ensure all documentation is supplied and dated within a year of the date of placement.
