Reg Medicine Locum at Macleay Valley, Kempsey

General Medicine Department. Ward rounds and handover from Medical/ED Teams. General Medicine ward role able to assess patients in the ED and ward and must be able to initiate first line therapies for such admissions. Must be able to liaise with the admitting Consultant to formulate a management plan. Must be able to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families and carers. Demonstrate ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team. Must act respectfully and professionally with colleagues.

Weekend Day shifts Saturday & Sunday (8-hour shift) inclusive of half hour unpaid meal break General Medicine Department.

Travel and accommodation covered by KDH to be arranged for the Locum Doctor only upon approved applicant.

We do not cover fuel or to and from the hospital.
