Cons Anaesthetics Locum at Lismore

Specialist Anaesthetists to cover Network Surgical Lists

We are looking for experienced Specialist Anaesthetists to cover our Network Surgical Lists which are scheduled across Lismore, Ballina and Casino Hospitals.

Lismore Base Hospital is a regional referral Level 5 base hospital with state-of-the-art operating theatre suite, ICU/CCU, imaging, Cardiac Cath Lab and most major specialties and subspecialties. The Lismore Base Hospital Emergency Department is a comprehensive level 5 Emergency Department and is the designated Trauma Centre for Northern NSW with on-site roof top helipad as part of our Retrieval Service.

The Specialists will be required to cover Monday to Friday full day lists. As our circumstances have changed there may also be the requirement for after hours on call.

Lists routinely commence 0700hours each day and go to 1800hours or end of list

There no rostered on call requirements at this stage but this may change and will be advised.

Please remind your Specialists under no circumstances are they to bring personal digital devices into our Theatres

We will pay a reasonable negotiated daily rate for 24hour period all-inclusive.

We will provide accommodation if available, hire car and reimburse reasonable travel.

Please ensure any locum presented for our consideration is job ready and has current NSW working with children clearance, national criminal record clearance, evidence of vaccination/immunisation and has completed all mandatory training modules including eMR and eMEDS prior to commencement.
