About this role

Registrar vacancy in Hospital in the Home (HITH) & Ambulatory Care. Duties include assessment and management of HITH patients under supervision of HITH Consultant, liaising with specialists regarding management plans, medication charting, calculation of deficits and replacement, consents, venesections with or without USS, difficult pathology collections, ABGs with and without USS, access and management of referrals, 1st SPC change, difficult catheterisations, gastrostomy tube changes, RACF & community home visits, identification of HITH suitable patients in Bathurst ED (via FirstNet), tracheotomies, and coordination with GP and community services. Travel & accommodation provided.
