Cons Medicine Locum at Tamworth

As a locum Oncologist you will be covering Oncology Clinics and provide telehealth support for the Moree Oncology Clinics, based at the North-West Cancer Centre at Tamworth Hospital. Duties include seeing medical oncology inpatients on the ward, triaging, ordering chemotherapy drugs, completing correspondence and results, and responding to nursing staff queries regarding chemotherapy patients for both Tamworth and Moree. SDPR training completion (6-10 hours, paid) required prior to commencing.

SDPR training completion required prior to commencing, please ensure locum is committed to completing the 6-10hrs for training required before commencing these shifts. Doctors are paid for this time.

If required to cover the Medical Oncology on-call during your placement that is after hours Monday to Friday, allowing you to make a significant impact in our patients’ journeys. Your general duties will include seeing medical oncology inpatients on the ward, triaging, ordering chemotherapy drugs, completing correspondence and results, and responding to nursing staff queries regarding chemotherapy patients for both Tamworth and Moree.
