Cons Emergency Medicine Locum at Cowra

ED Morning Shift: Face-to-face clinical handover with night ED doctor at 07:30, work 07:30–16:00 in the Emergency Department, complete discharge summaries, review admitted patients as requested, provide onsite medical care to ED presentations, complete documentation in eMR, provide and lead clinical review, rapid response, trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility, and manage pathology and radiology results for ED patients.

Qualifications/Experience • Current ALS Certificate

Duties • Face-to-face clinical handover with night ED doctor at 0730

• 7:30 – 1600 in the Emergency Department, complete discharge summaries and review admitted patients as requested.
• Provide onsite medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Complete contemporaneous and comprehensive clinical documentation in eMR.
• Provide and lead clinical review, rapid response, trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility.
• Check pathology and radiology results in the ED results message centre ordered by any doctor, follow-up and document management plans for any results needed further action and review any patients returning for follow-up of results.
